TALENT & BRAND PARTNERSHIPS
At the Mariners, I built and lead the club's player marketing program while overseeing player relations and celebrity and influencer partnerships. Every opportunity starts with finding the right fit, whether that's helping a player build their personal brand, connecting an athlete with a sponsorship opportunity, or introducing new audiences to the Mariners through music, entertainment, and culture. The goal is always to build partnerships that create real value for everyone involved.
PLAYER MARKETING
Building strong relationships with athletes has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I launched and lead the Mariners' player marketing strategy, partnering closely with players to build their personal brands, develop original content, and identify opportunities that extend beyond the field, from original programming to sponsorship partnerships. Whether launching a new content series or creating a brand partnership, my focus is always on helping athletes connect with fans in authentic ways while creating value for both the individual and the organization.
BRYAN WOO X LEXUS
Identified and brokered a six-figure partnership between Bryan Woo and Lexus after recognizing a unique opportunity to align one of the Mariners' emerging stars with a longtime corporate partner. Developed the proposal and drove the partnership from concept to execution, creating value for the player, the brand, and the organization.
VIBIN’ WITH JROD
Developed and launched Vibin' With J-Rod, an original YouTube series built around Julio Rodríguez's personality long before he became one of baseball's biggest stars. By positioning Julio as both the host and face of the series, the show helped introduce fans to the charisma and authenticity that would later make him one of the game's most marketable players.
CELEBRITY & INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS
Celebrity and influencer partnerships have become an important part of how organizations connect with new audiences. I launched the Mariners' celebrity and influencer program to create collaborations that extend beyond a single appearance or social post. By identifying the right partners and building relationships with musicians, creators, celebrities, and influencers, we've introduced Mariners baseball to new fans, driven revenue, and created meaningful value for both the talent and the organization.
ENHYPEN X MARINERS
Coordinated K-pop group ENHYPEN's visit to T-Mobile Park, transforming a first pitch into one of the most successful celebrity collaborations in Mariners history. After learning that one member of the group was born in Seattle and named after Mariners legend Jay Buhner, we built the storytelling strategy around that connection, creating an authentic narrative that resonated with both fan bases. The collaboration included a co-branded Mariners x ENHYPEN t-shirt, a themed ticket package that sold out in two weeks and generated more than $50K in ticket revenue, and an integrated content campaign garnering extensive media coverage and driving more than 15 million engagements and 76 million impressions.
ZACH TOP X MARINERS
Recognized an opportunity to connect with rising country artist Zach Top based on his Washington roots, leading to a cold outreach that began an ongoing relationship with the Mariners. What started with a first pitch and clubhouse tour has continued to grow, culminating in Top headlining the Mariners' 2026 Summer Soiree charity event. It's an example of what happens when you invest in a relationship rather than just a moment.
BRAND PARTNERSHIPS
The best sponsor integrations happen when the brand becomes part of the story. Every activation started with a creative idea and was built around authentic moments that felt natural for the player, the partner, and the audience. Whether it was J.P. Crawford and Ty France working a shift at Starbucks, Julio Rodríguez surprising a young fan with a Nintendo Switch 2, or Bryan Woo spending a day behind the wheel of a Lexus, the goal was always to create something fans genuinely wanted to watch while delivering value for our partners.
J.P. Crawford & Ty France Work at Starbucks
When the Mariners announced a new partnership with Starbucks, we went beyond the standard press release. J.P. Crawford and Ty France showed up for an actual shift behind the counter. The result was one of the most shareable pieces of branded content we've produced, turning a sponsorship announcement into something fans genuinely wanted to watch.
Julio Rodríguez Surprises Young Fan With Nintendo Switch 2
When Nintendo approached the Mariners around the Switch 2 launch, we pitched a concept built around surprise and access, integrating Julio Rodríguez into an unannounced visit to five-and-a-half-year-old Quinn, a devoted Mariners fan who had no idea what was coming. The video captured exactly the kind of moment that makes a partnership feel real rather than produced.
A Day in the Life at Spring Training: Mariners Pitcher Bryan Woo
As part of Bryan Woo's partnership with Lexus, we followed him through a full day at Spring Training in Arizona. The video gave fans an unfiltered look at what life as a Major League pitcher actually looks like, with Lexus integrated naturally throughout rather than as a product placement
